 | Executive Vice President, OperationsShelly N. Garman joined Armstrong in 1983. After distinguishing herself as research chemist, research scientist and senior research scientist in the Exploratory and Industry Products Groups, Ms. Garman was named research unit manager for Industry Products. In 1992, Ms. Garman became manager, Fiber Technology and, three years later, manager, Worldwide Gasket Technology. She assumed the title of vice president, technology and application development for AISI Industrial Specialties Inc., known by industry today as Interface Solutions Inc. Ms. Garman was named executive vice president, operations, in 1999. She holds a bachelor’s of science in chemistry from Kings College and a doctorate in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University. |
